Here is something I'm currently working on.
I want to add a 2 inch border of white and then a color and then another 2 inch border of white...but what color to add? I'm stumped!

What about a patterned fabric that picks up some of the colours already in the quilt

hmmmm....the quilt is very pretty! I love the fabrics that you have used. I am always stumped at picking border fabrics!

Do you have scraps? I can see colored squares as an inner border - or red.
It's hard to decide on border fabric. What I do is lay out the quilt on our coffee table. Then I place different fabrics I think might work next to it. I leave it out for an hour or so. The family and I take peeks as we walk by. After wards, we all chose what we think works best.
What great suggestions. I like the idea of blocks in the colored fabric. Print idea works if you want to buy some fabric or have enough of stash on hand. Favorite color....
